Thomas asks…How long does unemploment last?I am in FL.. i was approved for UE compensation last month. The letter says eligible and it has a dollar amount of about $15000. If I divide this amount by the weekly benefit amount, then it is exhausted in 5 months.. but the letter says benefit period is 1 year.
