Paul asks…Help with VA and surgery from private doctor?I have surgery scheduled for Monday Apr 27th for a service connected injury. My private health insurance is covering it. The main reason I am using a private doctor is because the nearest VA hospital is a 2 hour drive one way.
I am already getting compensation pay from the VA. Since I have gotten out of the Army my injury has got worse. They are going to be putting screws and pins in my foot to make it sit the correct way. They
