James asks…Can I claim compensation from the council for damage to my bike?Where I live, the council have recently resurfaced the road, with the exception of the cycle lanes - for some reason they didn't fill any potholes in in any cycle lane. I was cycling into work this morning and I hit a hidden pothole which was around 8cm deep, it did a considerable amount of damage to my bike and as a result of which, it is no longer road worthy.
