Richard asks…Why does an insured driver pay for an uninsured driver?Here in the UK, if an unisured driver has an accient with an insured driver, the insured driver has to claim for damages from his (or her) own insurance, often he will lose his no-claims bonus and his quotes for subsequent years will be higher because his insurance history shows a claim.
