Richard asks…Do we have to pay this tax back (UK)?Hi all, i will try and keep this short, but i need to explain a little first.
Coming up years ago, my dad was involved in a motorbike accident, leaving him with permanent injuries including a brain injury. He worked at an NHS hospital and so was put onto sick pay, which they paid a year of. His wages were taxed etc etc.
Six months into his sick pay, he was able to claim employment and support benefit along with disbility living allowance.
