Nancy asks…What is the procedure in a lawsuit?I am suing a real estate agent. My attorney has filed papers with the superieor court in Los Angeles. He told me they have 30 days to respond. It's been about 40 days now. What happens if there is no response? We have not made any financial claim, just stated the damages in general.
