Paul asks…Has anyone ever received compensation for missing medical records?I had requested a copy of my medical records as i wanted to look into the possible of putting a claim against my Dr's for medical negligence. I was told that what i had wrong with me was in my head for years with this practice. Only to be diagnosed a full 8 years later.
Upon asking for my records i noticed that a gap of 6 years was missing. Theyw ere from said practice where i had been in my opinion mis-treated.
