Nancy asks…Can I Claim Compensation From the Negligent Builders who Flooded My House?I need some legal advice - I live about 1/2 a mile away from a housing development site and on Tuesday afternoon their digger operator cracked a mains water pipe and neglected to divert the water flow / repair the pipe which meant the leaking water formed a lagoon like pond - this pond over flowed late tuesday afternoon and flooded the whole downstairs of my house.
The building firm have caused over 25k
