The attorney took this on contingency, however, the attorney claims there is about $50k work of expenses he is expecting to pay for out-of-pocket. Is this $50k tax deductible?
I'm speaking about the client. Client lost case, is being given a $50k bill for the attorney's expenses.
I thought it might be deductible since you can deduct attorney
