Lisa asks…How does a personal injury lawsuit work?I'm curious about the settlement process (of course).
So my mom waked into a store (place of business), and they had a hole in the floor covered up with a towel. She accidentally stepped in the towel and fell in the hole. It was like a football sized hole. She broke her foot really badly from this accident. On top of that, being in a cast (not able to drive) stopped her from attending her college classes that she already signed up for, etc.
