Your Questions About Compensation Stress Work

Mandy asks…My boss is trying to make me work for free, or I'm fired??!!?So as with most places right now, my place of work is suffering from financial stress. I work at an animal hospital as a technician. My boss just announced that everyone will have an "on call" day now, where if the schedule is slow, that person won't come in to work but will still have to be available to be called in should the schedule get busy.
