Mandy asks…can the uk government claim back disability money paid to my wife,out of her personal injuries winnings?my wife slipped and broke her pelvis and dislocated her hip in the local shopping centre.we have legal cover and i want to know if she gets any money off the shopping centre owners can she ,pay off all our debts,ie mortgage,bank loan etc etc ,or do the government stop the disability money she gets because we have a big amount of money for her injuriesadmin answers:Yes they can
